Despite FDA Warnings, Kyle Turley Won’t Back Down on CBD and COVID-19
Despite valid concerns over the unproven claim that CBD products can “destroy” the coronavirus, former NFL All-Pro Kyle Turley insists making unverified promises is not dishonest because “A premium CBD product is universal, it has universal application, and it has yet to kill a single soul in the history of the world.”
Experts like Dr. Herve Damas, a former NFL linebacker turned cannabis researcher, disagree, pointing out that while CBD has incredible healing properties, “There’s no science whatsoever, there is literally nothing in the scientific community that has proven it works as prophylactic or as a treatment post-infection” and making false claims could inadvertently lead to CBD users putting themselves in harms way.

Virginia Gov. Signs Bill to Regulate CBD Products as Food
Gov. Ralph Northam signed Senate Bill 918, introducing standardized regulation for the production of hemp-based CBD products.
Local hemp farmer Charlotte Wright says she finds it an encouraging move that “gives validity to the CBD industry” and will give consumers peace of mind knowing exactly what they’re getting.
