Fairwinds CBD believes in the science of whole-body wellness – but are they going about it the right way?
Join the investigation in our Fairwinds CBD review!
Who Are Fairwinds CBD?
- Fairwinds CBD was launched in late 2019.
- The company is actually a daughter/subsidiary to the founders’ other company, Fairwinds Cannabis, which launched in 2014. Both are based in Washington (state).
- All hemp is sourced from farmers in Oregon.
- They use 2 different extraction methods, either CO2 or pure ethanol, dependent on what plant constituents they’re hoping to grow.
- The company believes that while CBD is a phenomenal compound, it can’t do everything on its own. Their product development is therefore equally dependent on science and wisdom gained from studying the “synergies common in Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine”.
- All products undergo third-party lab testing, the results of which are available on the company’s website.
- Their About Us page says their original mission “still rings true.” The same page for Fairwinds Cannabis reveals this mission to be providing the world’s most “integrative and solution-based cannabis nutraceuticals,” with high quality ingredients and sustainable practices.
With a focus on both science and traditional medicines (and combining them), the company doesn’t have much time left for social media.
They continue to post daily on their Twitter, but their Instagram and Facebook only receive occasional updates.
They also appear to have abandoned their YouTube channel, which hasn’t seen any new videos since early 2020.
Furthermore, the only way to contact them is via email!
Perhaps wanting to keep their focus on their formulations, the company asks that customers only contact them if they can’t find the information they’re looking for on the FAQ page.
What Products Does Fairwinds CBD Sell?
Another contender for Fairwinds CBD’s slogan could be “Your Body is Unique. So is Our CBD.” As for the products they claim to be as unique as you, they fall under the following categories:
- CBD Oil
- CBD Topicals
- CBD Vape
- CBD for Pets
Let’s take a closer look and see how unique they really are!
CBD Oil

Fairwinds CBD developed the ZERO THC-Free Broad Spectrum Oil for customers unable to consume THC.
It’s also a hemp-only product, with none of the herbal extracts used in other Fairwinds products. Other than the hemp extract itself, the only ingredient seems to be the avocado oil base.
Sold in 16ml dropper bottles, you have your choice of potency: 550mg or 1,100mg total CBD, at $51.99 and $84.99 respectively.
B. Brown says they tried many THC free products and finds ZERO to be their personal favorite for its quality and efficacy:

Digestify Tincture is a Broad Spectrum CBD + CBG oil designed to clear nausea and calm your digestive system. As such, it contains no THC.
The formula places heavier emphasis on CBG, with 192mg total CBG compared to 10mg total CBD per bottle. In addition to the hemp extracts and avocado oil base, it also includes an essential oil blend.
A 16ml dropper bottle (0.5ml dropper) costs $54.99.

Deep Sleep Tincture says it all in its name.
It’s formulated to provide sleep support using a blend of Broad Spectrum CBD and CBG, avocado and MCT coconut oil, and essential oils and herbal extract blends.
Once again, there’s a higher concentration of CBG: 148mg total CBG and 68mg total CBD per 16ml bottle, for $54.99 each.

The final option, Release Tincture, is designed to promote an uplifted mood and stress relief.
This is another Broad Spectrum CBD + CBG oil blend; though this time the 2 compounds have a 1:1 ratio (100mg of each per bottle, for 200mg total).
Once again, they’re delivered in avocado base oil with a blend of essential oils and herbal extracts.
A 16ml bottle costs $54.99.
CBD Topicals

So far, there’s only one Fairwinds CBD topical – their Flow CBD Pain Relief Cream.
There’s an impressive mix of natural ingredients, including the ever-present avocado oil and essential oils blend. It also includes a terpene blend and 400mg total Broad Spectrum CBD with no detectable THC.
A 50ml jar costs $54.99.
S Caldwell says they use the cream “after intense workouts or races” to deal with muscle spasms and soreness, which otherwise troubles them all night:

CBD Vape

While you might expect something along the lines of vape pens and oil, Fairwinds CBD actually honors the original vape product – inhalers, most commonly prescribed to asthma patients.
The company developed 3 inhalers, corresponding with 3 of their 4 oil formulas: Deep Sleep, ZERO THC Free, and Release.
All 3 inhalers use “FDA-registered and regulated” propellant and a Broad Spectrum CBD+CBG oil with zero THC. Each pump (or serving) contains 2.27mg of CBD and 0.23mg of CBG.
The ZERO 550 Discreet Inhaler offers 220 servings, while the Release Anti-Stress Discreet Inhaler and Deep Sleep Discreet Inhaler offer 160 and 80 servings respectively.
All 3 formulas cost $59.99 each.
CBD for Pets

Last but not least, Fairwinds CBD ensures our four-legged family members aren’t left out. The Companion Pet Support CBD Oil Tincture is also the only Full Spectrum product on the website.
Suitable for both cats and dogs, the oil offers 2 potency options: 320mg and 640mg total CBD. The 16ml dropper bottles cost $29.99 and $39.99 accordingly.
C Storemont isn’t sure what their dog is allergic to, but says “Companion seems to be really helping” with her skin sensitivities:

Fairwinds CBD Reviews – What Are People Saying?
We’re always a fan of CBD companies that allow customers to leave feedback on their product pages! But of course, that doesn’t mean we don’t also continue looking for user reviews elsewhere.
Unfortunately, it seems the 3 comments found on the Fairwinds CBD website are the only user reviews available online.
This might be because the brand is still gaining traction under its more established parent company, Fairwinds Cannabis. For now, however, we’ll just need to trust those customers whose comments we shared above.
From what we can see Fairwinds offer a nice but small selection of CBD products but we’d recommend checking out our list of the best CBD products here first.
And if you’ve tried any of the Fairwinds CBD products then don’t forget to leave a review below!
