- Happy Buddha Hemp was launched in 2016.
- The company is run by a couple, Kate Povondra and DJ Petz, who grow their own hemp in Colorado. They pride themselves on using farming land untouched by pesticides for 50+ years.
- It isn’t certain what extraction method they use, though their products are third party tested. Lab results are easy to find on the website.
- Their mission appears to be holding true to the personal values of the owners and a refusal to sacrifice them for profit.
Originally run solely by the founding couple, the company expanded in 2018.
This allowed them to serve customers across the US, as well as remain active on social media. Although their Twitter account is only occasionally updated, you’ll find new posts on Facebook up to 5 times a day!

What Products Does Happy Buddha Hemp Sell?
Happy Buddha Hemp started off as a way to help Kate recover from a back injury.
After gaining popularity in Colorado, and later nationwide, they expanded their product range to include:

While there aren’t many products in these categories, let’s have a look at them in more detail!
CBD Oil
Although there’s only one Happy Buddha Hemp CBD Oil Tincture, you’ll still be spoiled for choice.
The regular oil is available in 5 potency options, ranging from 300mg to 4,000mg of total CBD per bottle (30ml or 60ml). There’s a sixth strength available, 2,000mg of total CBD, which is the only THC-free option so far.
Depending on the bottle size and potency, prices range from $32.00 to $199.00.
CBD Capsules
Happy Buddha Hemp also has a product listing for Daytime and Nighttime CBD Capsules.
Both varieties offer 30mg of CBD per capsule, with 30 capsules per bottle. The Nighttime CBD Capsules also have 5mg of melatonin each.
Both capsule options cost $60.00 for a bottle.
CBD Edibles
Similarly, there’s only one edible product – the Happy Buddha Hemp Full Spectrum CBD Gummies. These are sold in packs of 20, with 30mg of nano-amplified CBD per gummy, for $60.00.
CBD for Pets
For the cats and dogs in your life, the company also offers a CBD Pet Tincture and CBD Pet Treats.
The Pet Tincture is only sold in 30ml bottles, with a potency of 300mg (dosage guide based on pet sizes available on product page).
With a bacon flavor, these cost $32.00 each.
Soft and chewy to ensure senior pets can also enjoy them, the Pet Treats have a bacon and cheese flavor and a total of 300mg Full Spectrum CBD in a pack.
These have 30 treats in total, at $40.00.
CBD Topicals
Happy Buddha Hemp hasn’t held back with their topicals, though.
There are 4 products to choose from in this category: Sports Cream, Balm Salve, Face & Body Crème, Coconut Salve, and Massage Body Oils.
Naturally, product quantity and potency varies from one to the other, which also affects price. Most have 250mg of total CBD per 1oz, with some (like the Sports Cream) starting at 500mg.
Depending on the product and container size or potency (where applicable) you choose, prices range from $20.00 to $89.00.
Happy Buddha Hemp Reviews – What Are People Saying?
Considering the fact Happy Buddha Hemp has been around since 2016 and has even won some awards, it was surprisingly difficult to find customer reviews for them.
For example, their Facebook page doesn’t seem to have the review feature enabled. And as something of a disappointment, their product pages don’t allow customers to leave feedback.
Nevertheless, we did manage to find some comments! The only let down is even though all of the feedback is positive, it’s also dated back to 2019.
Hopefully we’ll be seeing more recent feedback from customers on other platforms!
