With a name like “Hemp Bombs,” it might be tempting to dismiss this company as nothing more than a CBD bath bombs brand.
But that would be a mistake.

- Hemp Bombs was founded in 2016, claiming they “started before CBD was ‘cool’.” While the CBD industry is older than this statement seems to imply, the company is actually referring to CBD becoming a “trend” of sorts.
- They’re based in the US and only use locally produced industrial hemp. They describe their farming methods as sustainable and free from contaminants, but are careful to avoid using the term “organic” as they are not yet organic certified.
- They have a team of experts who oversee every step of the CBD process, from extraction to production, and have multiple tests (internal and independent third-party) throughout the process.
- Their slogan could be “You Deserve More.”
- Their mission is “spreading natural wellness worldwide with premium Hemp-derived products sourced from high-grade Industrial Hemp.”
Hemp Bombs has a very active social media presence, with daily posts on Facebook and Instagram, and multiple daily Tweets on their Twitter account.
They’re also one of the few CBD companies who remain active on YouTube, uploading 1 to 3 new videos weekly.

While the label says the shot is “Multi-Dose,” customers said they tend to use it as a single-dose product before bed.

Hemp Bombs Reviews – What Are People Saying?
There are some overwhelmingly positive reviews on the Hemp Bombs website.
As you can see from the examples shared above, the only complaint seems to be regarding the price of some products and the fact the CBD gummy containers are insulated against heat damage, causing gummies to stick together during shipping.
We were also able to find another 7 reviews elsewhere online. Unfortunately, they don’t enjoy the same 4- to 5-star user rating here.
Instead, they have a shockingly low 2.7/5 star score.
Some complaints are just as shocking.
Scott says he spent $450 on a single order, but his CBD oils never arrived. He also says their customer service never answered or otherwise acknowledged any of his attempts to reach them:
Another customer, calling himself Hello Sean, recommends everyone using Hemp Bombs’ products (as well as from 2 other CBD companies) do testing of their own.
According to this user, the brand is deliberately misreporting the dosages to scam customers and the products almost all have contaminants such as black mold, pesticides, herbicides, and fungus:
Philip also says the vape cartridge he got from Hemp Bombs “was the worst CBD product” he’s ever used. Not only did it taste “gross and extremely cheap,” it wasn’t effective at all and had crystals forming:
On a more positive note, other customers – like Jeff and Nick – say the vape juice tastes great without the flavors being overwhelming. Jeff also says the CBD Oil has been helping with his PTSD-related anxiety:
