Jolly Green Oil has an inviting name and their website is a splash of color.
But a colorful website doesn’t guarantee a high-quality product!
Luckily, we did the dirty work for you. Take a gander at our Jolly Green Oil review to find out if they’re worth the purchase!
Who Are Jolly Green Oil?
- There’s no information about when Jolly Green Oil was originally launched. The website’s Homepage includes a banner saying “Back Under Original Ownership,” though nothing is said about who the owners are or who temporarily took their place (or why).
- Although the company specifies their JGO Flower range is “Indoor Organic USA Grown,” it isn’t clear whether their other products are also made from US hemp.
- It’s also unclear as to what extraction methods are used, and the company doesn’t seem to bother with having their products third-party tested.
- Their mission is to make your daily hemp routine as “pleasurable as possible.”
The company puts as much effort into social media as they do transparency. Their Instagram profile is still updated once weekly, but their Facebook page has been abandoned since mid-2020.
There aren’t any contact details offered on the website either, though their number might be +51 67 494652.
You can also enjoy a 10% discount when subscribing to receive one (or more) of their products on a regular basis.
What Products Does Jolly Green Oil Sell?
Surprisingly, Jolly Green Oil doesn’t sell anything on their website. Instead, you’re redirected to a brand category on the Pure CBD Vapors website!
This is where you’ll find the following product categories:
- CBD Oil
- CBD Edibles
- CBD for Pets
- CBD Vape
Let’s take a quick look at everything on offer!
First up is the Forest Hemp CBD Tinctures, which come in 2 potency options: 200mg and 500mg of total CBD per 30ml dropper bottle, at $29.99 and $39.99 respectively.
This product is meant to be used as a sublingual (under the tongue).
The Sublingual CBD Oil Tincture doesn’t appear to be fundamentally different to the Forest Hemp Tincture, other than potency options and the inclusion of Jolly Green Oil’s branding.
15ml dropper bottles offer 2 potency options (250mg and 500mg of total CBD), while the 30ml bottles come in your choice of 1,000mg or 1,500mg total CBD strengths.
Prices range from $34.99 to $149.99 accordingly.
Rashema is one of the only customers who bothered leaving a review – and unfortunately, it was to say he never received his product. Instead, all he got was a greasy bag and no response from the company when he tried to contact them.
It is worth adding Pure CBD Vapors responded to the comment on the brand’s behalf:
There are 7 Jolly Green Oil CBD edibles to choose from: Blue Raspberry Puffs, Gummy Worms, Peach Rings, Sour Gummy Bears, Sour Gummy Worms, Sour Watermelon Slices, and Strawberries & Cream.
All of them are available in 3 potency options, with a total of 500mg to 1,500mg of CBD per container. Prices fall between $19.99 and $34.95.
CBD for Pets
Like most CBD companies, Jolly Green Oils focuses exclusively on canines with their JGO Dogs Sublingual Tincture.
Each bottle features 250mg total CBD and costs $34.99.
Perhaps the main reason Jolly Green Oil is able to host their online store on the Pure CBD Vapors website is their range of CBD Vape products: Vape Pods, Vape Cartridges, and Vape E-Juice.
We’re also including the Pre-Rolled Flower (hemp joints), though it’s worth noting the product labeling is very different to what’s advertised on the JGO website. There are also no flower buds available, despite them being included on the JGO website’s advertising as well.
On top of that, while there are 20 strains promised on the brand’s website, the product page only gives you 4 options for the Pre-Rolled Flower: Master Kush, Space Candy, Special Sauce, and OG Kush.
Vape Pods, on the other hand, are available in 18 variants: Cherry Pie, GSC, Menthol, Orange Cookies, Pink Lemonade, Sour Apple, Strawnana, Berry Blast, Froot Loop, Gelato, Grand Daddy Purple, Mango, OG Kush, Pineapple Express, Sour Diesel, Strawberry, Super Lemon Haze, and Watermelon Bomb.
The E-Juice also comes in 4 options (Fruity Loopz, Berry Blast, Honey, and Watermelon), and the Cartridges in 11 (Honey, Lemonade, Menthol, Tobacco, Unflavored, Berry Blast, Froot Loop, Green Apple, Mango, Strawberry, and Watermelon).
Prices range from $14.99 to $44.99, though some products are listed as out of stock.
The Vape Cartridges are another rare example of customers taking advantage of the ability to leave feedback.
Joey says it smokes very smoothly, while Robert agrees it’s a very good product overall. Reese adds the ordering process was easy and they enjoyed fast shipping:
Jolly Green Oil Reviews – What Are People Saying?
The company is plagued by a lack of transparency and their product listings – on another company’s website, no less – differ from what their own homepage advertises.
So it doesn’t really come as a surprise that they only have a 3.6/5 star user-rating.
Many of the 23 reviews we found (not including those on the Pure CBD Vapors website) were negative.
For example, a user listed as “Forever Gold & Diamonds” says the products are terrible. They also suspect the brand is guilty of false advertisement when it comes to their product potency as well:
Kris says the only thing JGO got right is the taste and price. As someone who’s used a few different CBD brands, they’re disappointed this is the first one whose products give them a headache:
Another user, listed as “PeakAtChew,” describes the brand as a “pretty sketchy company.”
They echo many of our own thoughts in highlighting the complete lack of transparency on the website (specifically the lack of third party testing) and inability to reliably get in contact with them.
On top of that, the user also adds their own concerns regarding a difference in advertised potency and real results. They specify they use enough CBD products as a sleep aid and for anxiety relief to know what to expect, but got no results whatsoever from the brand’s products:
Rebecca, on the other hand, left a 5-star review, saying she loves the products.
She says their edibles and vape products taste great and don’t have a nasty aftertaste, though neglects to say whether she found them at all effective:
Beckie also agrees on the taste being amazing, especially thanks to the lack of a bad aftertaste. She does add that she thinks the edibles work well too, though doesn’t go into detail:
While “PeakAtChews” was left bitterly disappointed with the vape cartridges, Angelica says she received immediate relief for her chronic migraines with the same product.
She adds she didn’t feel much of a difference when using the gummies, though she’s happy to keep using the vape products in future:
And Joe says he decided to ignore what other users were saying about the company, going against their advice by giving the brand a try.
After trying the tinctures and gummies, he was impressed to find he immediately fell and stayed asleep:
Jolly Green Oil do have a nice selection of products but some of the negative reviews are alarming so we would recommend checking out our list of the best CBD products here first!
