Nature’s Root CBD invites you to discover the hemp plant’s restorative power one delicious product at a time.
Take a moment and read our review to see if it’s an honest invitation from the company!
Who Are Nature’s Root CBD?
- Nature’s Root CBD was launched in 2014, making it one of the older CBD companies on the market.
- Their hemp farm in Colorado was, allegedly, the first “to receive a legal license to grow Industrial Hemp under Amendment 64” in the US.
- The company actually came a year after the farm, though both were founded by the same family. They’ve since acquired more organic hemp farms, all in the same area.
- There’s no information available on their extraction methods and although product pages display a batch number, there aren’t any third-party or even internal lab test results available.
- Their mission statement promises they’re committed to working tirelessly, while their objective is seeking out and developing products that will bring “rejuvenation and whole-body healing.”

What Products Does Nature’s Root CBD Sell?
Nature’s Root CBD seems to place emphasis on their topical range, but they offer products across several categories:
- CBD Oil
- CBD Capsules
- CBD Topicals
- CBD Smokeables
- CBD for Pets
Let’s have a look at each category in more detail!
Fairly uniquely, Nature’s Root allows customers to customize the bottle size, potency option, and flavor of their tinctures – to an extent.
You’ll still be limited to a set range of options.
Bottle sizes can either be 1oz or 2oz and there are 3 potency options from 300mg to 1,500mg total CBD per bottle. The available flavors are Amber, Peppermint, Cherry Blossom, and Orange Spritz.
T.B. says the tinctures work well for them, especially in improving sleep quality and preventing their feet from feeling stiff when they wake up in the morning:
The Vital Hemp Oil Capsules come in bottles of 30, with 2 potency options of 450mg and 750mg total CBD. Prices are $54.99 and $94.99 respectively.
Superfood Chlorella CBD Tablets also come in bottles of 30, with 10mg of CBD per capsule.
They seem to be primarily marketed as a “super tablet” to aid with detoxing, though the company lists several other claims too.
This product was sold out at the time of writing, so we were unable to gauge price.
Stefani says the tablets “cured” her anxiety, headaches, and keep her hangover-free after a night out with friends. She also says they’ve changed her periods drastically, though doesn’t specify whether they helped reduce pain or somehow affected her cycle.
Rachel also calls them her “happy pill,” saying they make her feel calm and uplifted without any side effects like drowsiness:
There’s a fair range of products available in this category: Extreme Sore Muscle Balm, Body Lotions, Lip Balms, Brain Pain Balm, Itch Balm, 3 in 1 Balm, Coot and Bath Treatment, and Citrus Spice Balm.
Prices range from $6.00 to $49.00.
Despite being the “flagship” range, many don’t have any customer feedback or only have 1 review featured. The Extreme Sore Muscle Balm is the exception.
Renea says her husband has knee pain due to a Staph infection from 3 knee replacements, while rods in his back and neck are also causing him severe pain in those areas. She says the balm is the only thing that helps.
Jen also says it “works instantly and keeps working” to alleviate the aches and pains that come with being a professional dancer:
Nature’s Root CBD also has 1g pre-rolls for sale at $20 each.
The company recommends only inhaling one to four times per use, though doesn’t specify whether this affects the taste and effectiveness of subsequent uses, as can generally be expected.
CBD for Pets
Finally, there are 3 products in the CBD for Pets category: Vital Hemp Oil Capsules for Pet [sic], Oil Tincture, and Fur-Get About It Wound & Skin Care Oil.
Prices fall between $24.99 and $97.50.
The customer reviews left for the capsules seem to be confused. Jared’s entire review is a response to another customer’s feedback, where Megan complained she was able to get the same product for much cheaper from a retailer.
Beau’s, on the other hand, seems to have been meant for one of the balms in the topicals category:
Nature’s Root CBD Reviews – What Are People Saying?
We always look elsewhere for customer feedback – something we felt was especially important considering the apparent confusion on Nature’s Root CBD’s product pages!
Unfortunately, we were only able to find a few comments on their Facebook page, of which only 3 left a rating (all 5-star).
Tori lists a dizzying number of benefits she and her family have gotten from their products. These include mental clarity, no more dizzy spells, sore muscles and bones, migraine relief, moisturizing dry, cracking skin, and preventing her pores from getting clogged.
But perhaps the best part is after suffering 2nd and 3rd degree burns on her arms after a car accident, she started using the Fur-Get About It Wound & Skin Care Oil, which helped the burns heal very quickly:
Lloyd credits the company with saving his life, saying he feels their oils are responsible for killing 55% of his Emory Neck and Throat Cancer nodules:
Dennis is also a fan of the Sore Muscle Hemp Oil, which causes his shoulder pain to “melt away”:
We couldn’t tell if Nature’s Root CBD products are 3rd party tested or not and the lack of reviews makes them difficult to recommend so we would recommend checking out our list of the best CBD products here instead.
