- The company’s name is a Latin phrase meaning, “for the people.”
- They boast a risk-free, 30-day trial of their products in the form of a money-back guarantee. If you’re unsatisfied, they’ll offer you a full refund at the end of your 30 days.
- They source their hemp from the US, specifically mentioning Colorado farms, and use their “proprietary technology” to isolate and remove any unwanted compounds, while “creating the maximum potency level of other cannabinoids.”
- All of their products are formulated in a GMP standard facility.
- We couldn’t find any information on whether their products are 3rd party tested.
- Their slogan appears to be, “We’re a cut above the rest.”
Populum is primarily active on Facebook and Instagram with 1-5 posts per week, though they also have a semi-active Twitter with 1-2 tweets a month.
The company’s YouTube is also a valuable resource for CBD-related content, though with no new videos for 6 months now.

Populum also offers several programs.
First is your average monthly subscription savings, where customers can save 20% by subscribing to a product monthly.
However, less average are the company’s CBD Assistance Programs for Active Military and Veterans and pet owners who’ve adopted or are currently fostering pets.
Both Assistance Programs offer 25% discounts.

CBD Oils
The CBD Oils come in 2 formulas – Full Spectrum Hemp CBD Oil and Unflavored Full Spectrum CBD Oil – with the former being available in 3 potencies: 250 (8mg of CBD/serving), 500 (17mg of CBD/serving), and 1000mg (33mg of CBD/serving).
The Unflavored Full Spectrum Oil is priced at $89 for a 500mg bottle, while the Full Spectrum Oil varies from $59 to $179 depending on potency.
The more popular of the two is the normal Full Spectrum Hemp CBD Oil, with customers like Matt detailing their enjoyment of the product. Jon also enjoys the oil, though David says it’s too expensive:
CBD Capsules
Although there’s only one product under the capsules category, it’s available in 2 doses: 450mg (15mg of CBD/serving) and 750mg (25mg of CBD/serving).
This is ideal, as it offers customers who prefer easy-to-swallow capsules a couple different potencies to choose from.
For the 450mg capsules, you’ll pay $79. The 750mg option is $109.

CBD Skin Products
Populum offers 2 products under their CBD Skin category: Cold Therapy Hemp Rub and Lavender + CBD Face Oil.
The Cold Therapy Hemp Rub is also available in a sample pack for $3, though the full product will cost you $36. The Lavender + CBD Face Oil, on the other hand, is priced at $63.20.
Customers are a fan of these products too, though they favor the Cold Therapy Hemp Rub, saying it reduces pain and helps with arthritic knees and staying active:
CBD for Pets
There are 2 products on offer in the final category: Calming Hemp Oil and Hemp CBD Chews.
Lucky for all the fur-parents out there (and their fur babies), both products are suitable for cats and dogs!
The Calming Hemp Oil is available in 2 potencies – 3.3mg or 8mg of CBD per serving – and starts at $25.60.
The Hemp CBD Chews have 3mg of CBD per treat and start at $39.20.
Deborah says after using the Calming Hemp Oil, her cat is more mellow and his arthritic limp improves after dosing. Jessica shares a similar experience, saying her senior Rat Terrier is much calmer since using the oil:

Although their products don’t appear to be 3rd party tested Populum do sell a nice selection of CBD products and they do have a few nice reviews so they might be worth a try.
