Who is PureKana?
- PureKana was founded in 2017 and is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
- The company offers high-quality CBD grown and harvested in Kentucky farms. After harvesting, their hemp is processed, extracted, and quality tested. They however don’t specify the conditions at which their hemp is processed and extracted.
- Customers with disabilities can use the accessibility widget for ease of access to content on their site.
- The company is very open about their mission, which is to “lead the industry in bringing high-quality hemp cannabidiol (CBD) based products to the marketplace.”
- Although not branded as such, their slogan could be, “Pure CBD. Pure Results.”
PureKana is active on Facebook and Twitter, with 1-2 posts per day, and even more active on Instagram, with 3-4 posts per day. They also have a LinkedIn and YouTube.

What Products Does PureKana Sell?
PureKana’s categories are a bit complicated, but essentially there are 5 of them:

But before you jump into an order, let’s take a look at their products in more detail!
CBD Oils
In the CBD Oils category, they offer one product in 4 different flavors: Mint, Vanilla, Citrus, and Natural.
The first three flavors are available in 300 mg, 600 mg, and 1000 mg strength options, with 7.5 mg, 15 mg, and 25 mg of CBD per ½ of dropper (listed respectively).
Meanwhile, the Natural flavor CBD Oil is available in all strengths mentioned above, plus a 2500 mg (41.6 mg/ml) and 5000 mg (83.3 mg/ml) option.
The CBD Oil is non-GMO and free of pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers. It’s also non-psychoactive, with less than 0.3% THC.
Prices start at $70, though at the time of the review, the 300 mg was on sale for $54.
Jason and Connie both praised the CBD Oils, saying they noticed results and enjoyed the flavor and dosage. Nathan was less satisfied, but only because of the high price:
CBD Capsules
PureKana offers 3 different capsule products: Regular, PM, and AM.
The Regular capsules are available in 2 different potency options with 25 mg or 40 mg per capsule. PM CBD Capsules offer 25 mg of CBD per capsule, plus added melatonin for improved sleep.
The AM CBD Capsules offer 15 mg of CBD per capsule plus caffeine for an added energy boost.
All products are $83 and come with 30 capsules.

CBD Topicals
There are a variety of products in the CBD Topicals category: Ointment, Roll-On Gel, Cream, Patches, Lip Balm, and Body Balm.

Prices range from $11 to $129 based on product and strength.

CBD Edibles
For the sake of convenience, we combined PureKana’s CBD Gummies category with their CBD Edibles sub-category.
Starting with their CBD Vegan Gummies, this product is fruit flavored and packed with the company’s “leading CBD formulation.”
You can get 20 gummies with 25 mg of CBD per gummy for $40.
Customers are extremely pleased with the gummies! Melinda says she and her daughter take them daily and they work great:
Next up are the CBD Beverage Enhancers, which come in 3 different formulas: Energy, Sleep, and Immunity.
The Sleep and Immunity formulas come with 120 mg of CBD per 2 oz container. The Energy formula comes with 39 mg of CBD per 2-oz container and all formulas are priced at $35 for a 2-oz container.

Once again, for the sake of convenience, we’re pooling the last three “sub-categories” together.
First up is CBD for Pets!
Customers can purchase either CBD Oil or Dog Treats in this category. The CBD Oil is bacon flavored and comes in 2 potency options of 5 mg or 10 mg of CBD per serving.
The Hemp Dog Treats come in 3 different flavors – Steak & Sweet Potato, Peanut Butter & Pumpkin, and Blueberry & Chicken – and 2 potency options of 1 mg and 2.5 mg of CBD per treat (for small and large breeds).
